Imagine a world where developers just write code on the internet. This is the vision that was shared by D team members Program Manager Alexa Smith and Senior Software Engineer Hans Larsen in Berkeley’s Emerging Technologies and Social Impact class. During the class they demonstrated how to quickly build an app using their powerful Motoko programming language and encouraged students to experiment

themselves using the software.

The DFINITY Foundation’s mission is the Internet Computer, a new technology stack that is tamper-proof, fast, and could power a new generation of enterprise systems and internet services.
